No Entrance

This work is the result of my reflection on how my friends in the Ukraine must feel about the Russian invasion of their country. I used an Unsplash photo by Tina Harung as further inspiration. I had help from a friend who had to flee from Kiev to ensure that the language on the signage was correct.

The painting is pure watercolour (Lukas) on Bockingford 300g paper.
