Riaz Auladin is a Mauritian Watercolour artist.
His passion and dedication to the promotion of Watercolour in Mauritius has brought him the nickname of ‘Mr. Watercolour’.
Besides being the President of IWS Mauritius, he is also the representative of WASA in Mauritius. He also runs a small café largely dedicated to Watercolour, the ‘Café des Artistes’.
Riaz has participated to numerous National and International exhibitions and competitions in the past. He has won several awards and honors both on National and International level.
His paintings have reached as far as Canada, France, Spain, UK, South Africa among others.
The acclaimed artist is also a Watercolour teacher and offers courses in dedicated places as well at the Café des Artistes. Nowadays with the lockdowns imposed due to COVID 19 he has also been offering online courses through mobile applications like zoom and Facebook Live.
