Rise Again

This was a painting done shortly after looting/rioting incident in Kzn where I reside. Having recently relocated to Kzn, I had most of my art and sentimental valuables (photos, travel memoirs, books) in storage, which was burnt to ashes. Was an immensely emotional, heartsore and difficult time but realised human spirit is stronger and we will rise again....I will paint more paintings, make more memories. All those mixed emotions were transferred into painting I did to take my mind off this incident.
