The FabrianoInAquarello prestigious annual international event is now open for candidature for 2024. It is the 14th year since this event was first held in 2010 as an experimental project, and has now become the largest event dedicated to watercolour, bringing together artists, masters, enthusiasts, collectors, art supply brands etc from all over the world in celebration, including exhibitions, demos, workshops, painting holiday , plein-air and so much more. It is an international event attracting not only artists, but also the public and art lovers in general.
During Covid times the organisers introduced a digital entry option which opened the door to so many new countries who, like us, found it difficult to participate physically due to postage and customs restrictions. We are very grateful for the ‘foot in the door’ which enables us now to be part of this event. Due to the magnitude and organisation challenges, participating artists enter under a country group representation facilitated by dedicated leaders. We have managed to organise a collective representation for Southern Africa including Mauritius and the leaders are Chris Reid and Barbi Cunningham, who will lead you every step of the way.
This year the event is from 23rd-29th April in Fabriano and Bologna, the exhibition extends until June and in October the whole exhibition will move to Texas.

HOW TO ENTER;-
1; Please notify Barbi;- barbi@watercolorartsa.com with your Whattsapp number to be added to the Fabriano Whattsapp group.
2. Create a personal profile on the FabrianoIn Aquarello platform, where you will upload your entry for Selection. If you already have a profile, there is no need to create another.

4. Size;- 56 x38cm, can be vertical or horizontal.
5. DEADLINE;- 10th January.
6. COST;- FREE to enter a painting on the on-line exhibition by opening a profile on the platform and thus applying for candidature for SELECTION.
50 Euros on POSITIVE SELECTION for the digital country entry for the event and inclusion in the 2024 catalogue.
