DETAILS: This painting is acrylic on canvas. It was inspired by the prolific lemon tree in my backyard. I am amazed that while the tree still held onto about 30 lemons, in the spring it was again in full bloom to pollinate. As the air was heavy with the perfume of blossoms, I watched bee after bee pollinate this same string of flowers and I thought are the bees charming the tree or is it the other way around?
