Flowers are alot like people. The characteristics of a flower correspond quite well to the character of a person and I suppose this is why its common to find girls in particular named after flowers.
If The Strelitzia nicolai was a person she would have a very distinct personality. At first glance she seems more subdued compared to her smaller sister, the reginae. Yet in her colouring, architecture and proportions, she is reminiscent of a woman who is strong and capable, yet reserved and almost overlooked. Once you actually pay attention to her though, you realise she is also elegantly beautiful.
