Mother

The blue symbolizes what it feels like to become a mother. It is messy, it takes over, it becomes you. The yellow is what is left of the woman before she became a mother. The faded roses reflect the exhaustion that she has learnt to live with, while the red roses with the specks of blue and yellow is how she has become someone new, someone forever changed by the little person who made her a "Mother."
