Praying for peace

My theme for this painting is reflecting back on life as a child we used to say morning prayers before school started dont know if this happens anymore. We used to pray for peace,health and prosperity doesnt seem like it worked on the peace side. The reference was from an old black and white photo of kids in the Gorbals of Glasgow my home town photographer and children unknown
