The Delicate Arch

This is my rendition of the awe inspiring Delicate Arch - a 52 foot tall freestanding natural wonder in Arches National Park , Utah, USA. I visited this during the pandemic in Mar of 2021- and just standing under this majestic beauty against the dramatic sandstone backdrop evoked a sense of calm, stability, permanentness of the human race. It was very reassuring given the circumstances.
I painted this in Sep'2024 on a day that I took off from work for self-care and tried to pour the same feelings I had on the day I stood under it.
