As the prompt said – we live in an uncertain world filled with darkness. Yet light always finds us, if only we will really look. This painting is a light-moment, a space of peace and light between a 93- year old widowed mother and her daughter, a winter moment in the light that catches itself in their hair and in their tea, on their clothes and in their hearts. Inthe face of global warming, the big light brings warming to their souls.
