This is a watercolor painting of the St. Joseph Chapel inside Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines which holds a dear place in my heart as I celebrated my birthday with my family in the area. This painting was also the first work I did outside of my then-small-scale food paintings. I would say this piece launched the light in me to paint beautiful historical architecture to try to bridge the past and the present.
This painting was made using Daniel Smith watercolors, Escoda brushes, and Arches rough watercolor paper.
