‘Road Less Travelled’

A trip to Kruger National Park in South Africa is “Food for the Soul”.
This less travelled road is near Punda Maria in the north of Kruger.

I am extremely grateful that Shelley, my eldest daughter, and I were able to do this trip in July 2021. We made it an ‘art retreat’ holiday. My trip in 2020 was cancelled due to Covid-19.

I promised my late husband, he died in 2019 shortly after his 76th birthday, that I would continue to go to Kruger. He suffered lung problems due to inheriting Alpha-1 Anti Trypsin Deficiency. He had a wonderful positive attitude and a lovely sense of humour.
During his last 4 years we did the trip annually even though he was dependent on oxygen and on occasion a wheel chair.

His dream was to see his wife and his 2 daughters painting. It was a wonderful experience going down memory lane and showing Shelley all the places, her father and I had been.
